The show opening I chose was from never have I ever. This is a romance and drama show. The audience is encouraged to feel bad. For this is a high school girl who had a rough freshman year and is going into sophomore year as she was praying for a good year to make up for last year. The first cut was when the show went from the back of her head to her face to show her praying. It contributed to the meaning by us having to wait to see what see looks like giving us some mystery. Another cut was when the show was telling you about devi the main character to then switching and cutting to the narrator and showing him.This added meaning because it told us about the narrator and who he was. In the opening there was a montage showing Dave McEnroe, the legendary, famous tennis player and also the narrator.
