Camera Angles, Shots, Movement, Composition In a Movie
I choose to watch anyone but you.
The first camera shot I saw was a wide shot as we saw a lot of background and were very far away from the characters. This wide shot was used to show the setting and the mood.
The second camera shot I saw was an over the shoulder shot. This was when the main character was talking to the barista. this over the shoulder shot was used to shot that a conversation was happening from an outside view.
the first camera angle I saw was a medium shot when the two main characters were hanging out. This shot was used to show what they were doing but not be too far away.
the second camera angle I saw was a high angle of the city. It was used to show the big city.
the first movement I saw was zoom when they started talking about his moms wench and they zooming in on it to get a better look.
the next one I saw was a track shot where the camera followed the main character walking down the hall way. the used this to show how she was feeling better entering the room.
the first composition I saw was the rule of thirds when one of the main characters waist the right third leaving the others open.
the second composition I saw was shallow focus when they focused on one of the main characters and blurred out the rest. This was used to focus on the main character.
