 • How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

My product uses the conventions of a typical magazine. It uses the conventions because it is a basic travel magazine on a very popular travel destination place. My product can represent social groups and issues both positively and negatively. First, it could promote tourism and get people to travel to Hawaii making Hawaii become a richer place. Also it would get more people to learn about the Hawaiian culture. On the other hand, it can be negative like there being to many tourist they need to build a lot which can cause over development in Hawaii. Also, the cost of living in Hawaii keeps increasing because people want to move to Hawaii after traveling.

• How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

My Hawaii magazine engages with the audience by having useful information like where the best beach is or best dinner of the year award for the audience to use. Like my magazine mentions where the best beaches are it engages with the audience by telling them where to travel to. My Hawaii magazine would be distributed as a real media online. I would promote it on TikTok, Instagram and you tube and it would be linked in the bio. I would post things like about shark diving and pretty beaches basically keeping up the trends. So i would go viral and get my magazine a lot of exposure. When people would comment "where is this" i would write check my bio and promote the magazine. It would be 4 dollars per month and a new article each month would come out.
• How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

I think my production skills developed so much during this project. Like i had to learn how to use Canva which i have used only once or twice before. So i got really good at learning how to work Canva. It used to be really hard and confusing but since i got a lot of practice i no longer struggle with it. Also with blogger i had never even heard of blogger before this school year and now this year i used it at least once a week. At first it took me a little to learn how to work it. But i quickly got it and now i find it suer essay to use. Therefore my production skills developed on Canva  and blogger through this project.
• How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

In this project i used online, software and hardware. The hardware i used was my phone to take photos my computer to do all the work on. The software i used was Canva which i did everything for the article on. Like editing writing pictures. Also blogger which i spent most of my time making blogs about my magazine. Like how far in my project, what i did over spring break, basically just recording everything for blogger.  The online things i used in this project is the articles  i used to help me make my article.
